Little Bangkok Lunch and Cultural Workshop at Siri Sala

Set along the quieter, historic waterways of Bangkok, this immersive river journey reveals a more intimate and timeless perspective of the city, far removed from its frenetic pace.  Departing from Si Phraya Pier along Charoen Krung, guests board a private wooden boat and glide along the Chao Phraya River toward the historic canals of Bangkok Noi—“Little Bangkok”—as a dedicated storyteller brings the journey to life with insights into iconic landmarks such as Wat Arun and the Grand Palace which you will pass by. Upon arrival at Siri Sala, a beautifully restored traditional Thai villa set along tranquil khlongs, the experience unfolds with a private house tour before guests gather around a striking communal teak table crafted from the home’s original structure. Here, a curated sumrub shared traditional Thai meal is served, thoughtfully composed by resident chefs who draw on seasonal ingredients, aromatic herbs from the villa’s gardens, and a refined balance of traditional flavors and contemporary techniques. The setting—lush gardens, open-air living spaces, and serene ponds—creates an atmosphere of relaxed elegance, evoking the warmth of a shared Thai family meal elevated to a sophisticated culinary journey. 

The afternoon concludes with a hands-on cultural workshop, offering a choice between lotus flower folding, herbal inhaler making, or clay mask painting, before guests return by private boat to their preferred Bangkok pier—leaving with a deeper connection to the city’s heritage, flavors, and riverside way of life.

This experience begins at 11:30 am and ends at 3 pm pier to pier.
