Named after the Italian autostrada connecting Naples and Puglia, the restaurant has long been celebrated for bringing the soul of Italy’s coastal regions to San Francisco through rustic yet refined cuisine, a Michelin-recognized dining experience, and a James Beard Award-winning wine program that has made it one of the city’s enduring culinary destinations.

For this Chef’s Choice experience, guests will enjoy a curated selection of signature dishes and seasonal specialties that capture the restaurant’s vibrant and convivial approach to dining. Wood-fired Neapolitan pizzas emerge blistered and aromatic from the oven alongside housemade pastas, pristine seafood, market vegetables, and soulful Southern Italian preparations designed to be savored and shared. 

Complementing the experience is a thoughtful series of wine pairings from Grounded Wine Co., the acclaimed label founded by Napa native Josh Phelps. In collaboration with A16 owner and sommelier Shelley Lindgren, each pairing has been thoughtfully chosen to enhance the flavors, textures, and spirit of the menu.
