Originally from Halifax, Nova Scotia, Burns traded degrees in mathematics and philosophy for a career in some of the world’s most celebrated kitchens. His journey led him from Heston Blumenthal’s groundbreaking Fat Duck in England to the legendary Noma in Copenhagen, where he spent three formative years helping shape one of the most influential restaurants of the modern era under René Redzepi. He later joined forces with David Chang to launch the Momofuku test kitchen in New York before opening Luksus in Brooklyn, earning Greenpoint’s first Michelin star.

Now, guests are invited to step behind the scenes for an intimate and delightfully unexpected exploration of Burns’ latest culinary passion: gelato.
